FORMER BULLDOG JACKSON FELTNER MAKES FIRST TEAM ALL-OVC AND ALL-REGION

LOUISA, Ky. — The LC Middle School Bulldogs faced the reigning state champion Belfry Pirates on Thursday for their first scrimmage of the year. The Bulldogs held Belfry to just a few first downs and the defense racked up 5 sacks against the Pirates. The offensive line was dominant with the Bulldogs racking up over 200 yards and 3 touchdowns on the ground. The passing game went 7-10 with over 150 yards and one touchdown through the air. There were no sacks or QB hurries. The offensive line is led by Ethan Preece, Chandler Preece, Cameron Castle, Colbie Prince, Cameron Vanhoose, and Hayden Thomas.

Search warrant leads to the recovery of stolen goods from a recent string of vehicle break-ins in Blaine. The Lawrence County Sheriff’s office executed a search warrant at a residence in Blaine after obtaining information on the whereabouts of stolen goods linked to two break-ins from June of this year.
