Austin’s annual Freedom Fest 4th of July celebration to be held July 1st-4th

Austin’s annual Freedom Fest celebration for the 4th of July will be getting underway Friday evening, and activities will continue throughout the rest of the long holiday weekend.  The Austin Enhancement Group was recently established to help organize Austin’s 4th of July Freedom Fest, and group member Taylor Bliese talked with KAUS about what the group’s main role will be with the celebration moving forward….

Mark Bliese, another group member, talked about events that will kick off the celebration Friday night and Saturday…

The Morning Lions Fly-in Breakfast from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. will kick off activities for Sunday, and Taylor and Mark went on to talk about many other activities and entertainment in Bandshell Park on Sunday…

The Mini-Piggy Fun Run at 10:45 a.m. will start Freedom Festival activities on Monday, July 4th, and the parade on Main Street through Austin will follow soon afterwards at 11:00 a.m.  Taylor Bliese stated that there will be plenty of activities and entertainment throughout the rest of the day Monday, cumulating with the fireworks at around 10:00 p.m…
