ACTION NEWS 8 REPORTER CHRISTIAN BALDERAS IS LIVE IN SOLEDAD WITH THE DETAILS. DAN, ERIN... POLICE SAY THAT AT ABOUT 11 THIS MORNING, AN OFF- DUTY SECURITY GUARD WAS IN THEIR CAR WHEN THEY WERE ROBBED AT GUN POINT BY MULTIPLE PERPETRATORS. AT THE 800 BLOCK OF ALHAMBRA STREET-- THE VICTIM WAS SHOT AND ROBBED. THE PERPETRATORS ALSO STOLE THEIR GUN. THE VICTIM WAS RUSHED TO NATIVIDAD HOSPITAL. AS OF ABOUT AN HOUR AGO, POLICE SAID THEY ARE STILL SEARCHING FOR THREE SUSPECTS INVOLVED. POLICE SAY THE VICTIM IS STABLE. NO OTHER DETAILS HAVE BEEN RELEASED. When the guard arrived in the area, police say he was helped up at gunpoint. When he attempted to drive away he was shot and after being shot he was robbed and his gun was taken. The Soledad Police Department is investigating a shooting that hospitalized a man Wednesday morning.
