Prince George's police are investigating a fatal collision in New Carrollton that killed a 20-year-old Maryland man, according to the Prince George's Police Department.
Around 8:35 p.m. on June 28, officers responded to the 7300 block of Good Luck Rd. for a crash involving two vehicles. Police said Chris Brian Orellana, 20, of Lanham, Md, died as a result of the collision.
The investigation revealed that Orellana was traveling eastbound on Good Luck Rd. when he lost control of his vehicle.
Orellana crossed the center double yellow line and struck a minivan driving westbound on Good Luck Rd, officials said.
He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to police. The driver and passengers of the van were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
