COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A 68-year-old man died in an accident after police say a tractor rolled over him.
Cobb County police say it happened sometime Monday at a property off Mayes Road in Powder Springs.
Police identified the victim as the homeowner Ray F. Reece.
Police say Reece was using a yellow Ford 540B industrial tractor on his property.

At some point, the tractor started to slide on loose soil and rolled over on its left side. The tractor pinned Reece underneath it.
A family member found him around 5:20 p.m. It’s unclear how long Reece had been pinned underneath the machinery.
