VISALIA, Calif. (KMJ) — One person has been killed in a traffic collision that involved a Caltrans water tanker.
The deadly crash happened on Tuesday evening near Highway 198 and Mooney Blvd.
CHP has taken over the investigation and it is unknown if the person killed was the driver or if there was more than one person inside the car.
As seen in the photos, the car was very badly damaged as it collided into the back of the water tanker.
Several eastbound lanes on the right side of Highway 198 were closed until officials were able to clear up the scene.
