With Roe v. Wade no longer in effect, they are preparing to get busier.

"It's an opportunity for us to put boots on the ground where we've said we care about mom and child beyond in the womb," Schneider said.

Schneider also works as a counselor here. She says for many clients, unplanned pregnancies present enormous challenges and evoke fear about the future.

"Sometimes it might be school or scholarships, sometimes it might be jobs, sometimes the father of the baby isn't interested so they're looking at going at this alone," Schneider said.

She says standing alongside pregnant people is key, no matter their views.

Life Choices still offers information on abortions, but they present adoption and parenting as viable options too. Here, they offer parenting classes from pre-natal to teen years. They even have clothes, diapers and other basics for babies.

"We want to empower women, that they can choose life for their child and they can live life well. Life might have to look a little different, but they can do it," Schneider said.

With Nebraska's abortion laws hanging in the balance, she says they are developing new outreach strategies now.

"We don't ever want a woman to face an unplanned pregnancy alone," she said.
