CANYON CITY – Grant County Historical Museum Curator Kit Kienzle was recently on KJDY’s Coffee Time, and explained the museum is in search of local volunteers to help preserve and carry forward Grant County’s history:

“Volunteer opportunities range from sitting at the front desk, talking to people, giving them tours—all the way down to, research opportunities and I’m always looking for help to update exhibits. We need volunteers for pretty much every aspect, and they help us stay open, which is the important part.”

The Grant County Historical Museum in Canyon City is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. until September 30th.
