JAMESTOWN, ND (NewsDakota.com) – The past presidents of the Chamber partner with the University of Jamestown and Jamestown Regional Medical Center to provide scholarships to incoming University of Jamestown students.

The Chamber, along with their partners, were able to provide two $1,000 scholarships this year. One is a general scholarship and the other is for a student interested in a medical profession. Every year, the Chamber Ambassador Committee raises money for the scholarship fund.

The 2022 scholarship recipients are Olyvia Morin and Macy Fischer of Jamestown High School. These outstanding students will be attending University of Jamestown in the fall. Morin is interested in business and hopes to start a career in manufacturing. Fischer is pursuing a degree in Psychology and hopes to start a career in counseling. Congratulations to these students and best of luck in your future careers.

For more information on these scholarships or to donate to the scholarship fund, contact Emily Bivens by emailing: director@jamestownchamber.com or call the chamber at 701-252-4830.
