MONTICELLO, Ky. (FOX 56) – The Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal collision that happened in Wayne County on Tuesday.
Michael W. McClellan, 28, of Monticello was traveling at a high speed at around 1:53 p.m. on Tuesday on KY Highway 90 when he hit a vehicle driven by Delmar G. Brumley, 81, and his passenger, Wendell R. Kelsay, 71.
According to KSP Delmar and Kelsay were life-flighted to the University of Kentucky Hospital for life-threatening injuries.
McClellan sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Wayne County Coroner’s Office.
