Parkland Pregnancy Resource Center On Roe V Wade

(Park Hills) Reaction continues to come in from many different groups and organizations concerning the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the Roe-V-Wade abortion ruling. Becky Laubinger is the executive director of the Parkland Pregnancy Resource Center in Park Hills. She says they are extremely happy with the ruling.

Almost immediately, the State of Missouri signed documents implementing a legal opinion that abortion is now outlawed in Missouri. Laubinger says they’re pleased with that decision as well.

The only exceptions in Missouri would be for medical emergencies when the mother’s life is in danger but it does not provide exceptions for rape or incest. It also officially bans abortions based on a Down Syndrome diagnosis and for sex or race reasons.
