VERMILLION, S.D.—South Dakota senior associate athletic director for facilities and operations Corey Jenkins is pleased to announce the promotion of Sara Wieseler to director of athletic facilities, Ryan Porter to assistant director of athletic facilities and Chad Davison to assistant director of events and facilities.

Wieseler will oversee custodial and facility operations within her new role as the director of athletic facilities. She has been with the Coyote athletic department since 2007, serving roles within both the facility staff and as the equipment manager. A native of St. Helena, Nebraska, Wieseler graduated from Wayne State with a bachelor’s degree in sport management.

Porter has been promoted from a facility operations specialist to assistant director of athletics facilities. He will have added administrative responsibilities within his new role in the athletic facilities team. Porter has been with the Coyote athletic department since 2018. He graduated from Wayne State with a bachelor’s degree in sport and fitness administration/management.

Davison moves into a new position as the assistant director of events and facilities. He will serve as the primary game manager for assigned sports while assisting with all day-to-day event management and facility needs. He spent the past year as a facility operations specialist, while previously serving on the event management staff as a graduate assistant and as an undergraduate intern. Davison earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of South Dakota, completing his bachelor’s in kinesiology and sport management in 2018.

In addition, several new facilities staff members have joined the Coyote athletic department this summer in Jaaron Paugh, Orville Oldson and Aaron Renshaw.
