9 Alabama post offices seeking job applicants

The U.S. Postal Service is seeking applicants for jobs at nine northwest Alabama post offices.

Applicants can show up on Friday, July 8, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at each of these locations to apply:

  • Athens Post Office, 110 Market St.
  • Decatur Post Office, 400 Well St. N.E.
  • Elkmont Post Office, 25540 Levie Davis Rd.
  • Florence Post Office, 210 N. Seminary St.
  • Hartselle Post Office, 201 Cedar St. N.
  • Harvest Post Office, 9157 Wall Triana Rd.
  • Madison Post Office, 56 Hughes Rd.
  • Owens Cross Roads Post Office, 8396 U.S. 431
  • Wynn Drive Post Office, 645 Wynn Dr. N.W., Huntsville

Among the job openings are Assistant Rural Carrier ($19.06 per hour), City Carrier Assistant ($18.92 per hour), Rural Carrier Associate ($19.06 per hour), Postal Support Employee ($18.69 per hour).

Postal officials will be onsite to answer employment questions and to assist applicants with the process.
