KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) —

Active COVID-19 cases topped 2,000 again Wednesday in West Virginia after declining for two straight days.

The active total now sits at 2,014 after the addition of 667 new positive cases Wednesday, according to the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources. The total increased by 21 from the previous day.
