Wanted Paducah man facing new drug charges

A wanted Paducah man was jailed Tuesday and received new drug charges.

Deputies stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Old Mayfield Road and Houser Road early Tuesday morning.

The driver, 52-year-old Joseph L. Herzog, was found to have an outstanding warrant out of McCracken County.

In addition, deputies said a search of his person uncovered illegal narcotics.

Herzog was served with the warrant and charged with possession of meth, possession of an unspecified drug, license to be in possession, and numerous traffic offenses.

He was taken to the McCracken County jail.
