MORE THAN A DOZEN OF HIS CLIENTS NOW ACCUSE HIM OF INAPPROPRIATE CONDUCT DURING OFFICE VISITS. HE DENIES EVERY ONE OF THOSE ACCUSATIONS. SHELDON: INVESTIGATORS SAYS DR. HE HAS OFFICES IN ALLEGHENY, ARMSTRONG, BUTLER, MERCER AND WESTMORELAND COUNTIES. THESE ALLEGED INCIDENTS HAPPENED IN ARMSTRONG, BUTLER AND MERCER COUNTIES. HERE IS THE CASE LAID OUT AGAINST SABO BY THE GRAND JURY. IT STARTED OUT WITH ONE ACCUSER AND THEN 13 MORE WERE ADDED TODAY. HE FACES 16 CHARGES INCLUDING RUNNING A CORRUPT ORGANIZATION, SEXUAL EXTORTION AND INDECENT ASSAULT. THESE ALLEGED INCIDENTS OCCURRED BETWEEN 2013 AND 2020. Dr. Matthew Sabo was arrested by the Office of the Attorney General for inappropriately touching 14 patients between 2013 and 2020.During that same time period, he is accused of overprescribing pain medication to patients, causing at least one to fall addicted to the prescriptions, according to the grand jury.Sabo runs the Foot and Ankle Wellness Center of Western Pennsylvania in five counties, but the alleged incidents occurred in Armstrong, Butler and Mercer counties."I'm telling you right now that my client, under no circumstances, violated the law whatsoever," says Sabo's attorney, Phil DiLucente. "He is adamant about that."Sabo is a resident of Chicora, Butler County, and remains free, after posting a $100,000 straight bond."He's under attack right now," DiLucente said. "There's no sex involved. Worst case scenario is this is a touching case. There's no sexual deviance whatsoever."Sabo must appear for a preliminary hearing in Armstrong County in September.
