Old Time Pottery to open superstore at former Hobby Lobby location in Springfield

Old Time Pottery announced it plans to open a new 85,000-square-foot superstore in the former Hobby Lobby building on Battlefield Road in Springfield.

Old Time Pottery is a home décor store that offers home accents, wall décor, rugs, home furnishings, floral, planters, dinnerware, housewares, bedding, seasonal decorations and more. 

A news release for the company says the plan is for the Springfield location to open in  September. The address is 1535 E. Battlefield Road.

This will be the third Old Time Pottery store in Missouri. Old Time Pottery is currently hiring for the Springfield store. The company says perks include competitive wages, a 20-percent employee discount, paid vacation, dental and vision benefits and 401k.
