At least one person has serious injuries after a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle on Route 63 in Goshen on Wednesday morning.
A man from Torrington has died after a motorcycle crash on Route 63 in Goshen on Wednesday.
State police were called to a serious crash involving a motorcycle and a car on Route 63, also known as North Street, at the intersection of Westside Road around 5:40 a.m.
Investigators said a Subaru Crosstrek was traveling northbound on Route 63 and was in the process of making a left turn into the driveway of 161 North Street when a motorcyclist struck the vehicle from behind.
According to state police, the motorcyclist, later identified as 28-year-old Travis Jon Raymond, of Torrington, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both the driver of the Subaru Crosstrek and her passenger suffered minor injuries, but declined medical attention.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
