CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Electricity has been restored after more than 7,000 people lost power Wednesday morning in the southwestern area of Chesapeake.
Dominion Energy says it was due to a circuit outage. A large swath of land east of the Great Dismal Swamp was affected.
Dominion set a restoration time between 9 a.m. and noon, but restored power before 7:45 a.m.
