Veteran radio personality Marco Nation is the new morning show host for the Monroe/Toledo heritage country radio station K100/WKKO-FM, Cumulus Media announced Monday.

Nation debuted Monday on “The Marco Nation Morning Show” with co-host Lyn Cayse. The show airs from 5 to 10 a.m. weekdays.

“I'm very excited to join this amazing team in Toledo. I can't wait to wake up the Glass City with a fresh new style of morning show with Lyn,” Nation said. “Our number one goal with this morning show is to keep Toledo laughing and entertained from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. each and every morning. I've already met so many great people in this wonderful city and I look forward to meeting even more.”

Nation, a 30-year radio broadcasting veteran, most recently hosted in the mornings on Energy 106.9 in Milwaukee, Wis. Before that, he was morning show host on 97.5 WKMZ-FM in Martinsburg, W.Va. He also hosted in the mornings on 93.1 JAMZ-FM in Madison, Wis. and on KLCK-FM in Seattle, Wash. And served as executive producer/co-host of the “Matthew Blades morning Show” on 94.5 WKTI in Milwaukee, Wis.

“Marco brings deep experience as a popular morning show host to K100, and is high-energy, very creative and has a great work ethic. He is the perfect fit to join us at Cumulus Toledo, and we think K100 listeners will love Marco’s pairing with his new radio partner, veteran Lyn Cayse. We are beyond excited to have him here,” Dana DiModica, vice president/market manager for Cumulus Toledo/Monroe, said.
