Virginia Man Shot and Killed on Liberty Road

Virginia police are asking for the public's help after a man was shot and killed on Monday night.

Officers say they responded to a report of shots fired in the vicinity of 299-18 Liberty Road on Monday night just after 10 pm.

When deputies arrived at the scene they found Monta' T. Gray who was suffering from a gunshot wound. First responders transported Gray to Bon Secours Southern Regional Medical Center for treatment, but he did not survive his injuries.

The GCSO says it is pleading with the community to help them by providing any information about this incident.
