Former Salpointe softball standout Anjolee Aguilar-Beaucage transferred to North Dakota State; Former Marana distance runner Libby Shields to compete for Kent State

Former Salpointe softball standout Anjolee Aguilar-Beaucage completed her transfer from Grand Canyon to North Dakota State Tuesday morning. The former All-WAC Honorable Mention athlete started all 49 games at GCU as a freshman but that number fell to 10 as a sophomore under first-year head coach Shanon Hays who replaced longtime head coach Ann Pierson after 18 seasons.

Located in Fargo, the Bison compete in the Summit League as an NCAA Division I program.

Former Marana distance athlete Libby Shields committed to run for Kent State. Shields was an All-Southern Arizona selection in 3200 meter run with a time of 11:11.86.

The Golden Flashes compete in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) as a D-I institution.

Andy was named an Honorary Flowing Wells Caballero in 2019, became a member of the Sunnyside Los Mezquites Cross Country Hall of Fame in 2021 and he was a member of the Amphi COVID-19 Blue Ribbon Committee.
