KOKOMO, IN- After five years, 51 games, 247 innings and countless memories, Adam Wheaton walked off the mound for the final time in a Growlers uniform. The right-hander struck out six and tossed eight shutout innings on the mound, leading the Growlers to an 8-0 and making the Magic Number four.

Wheaton was helped by fantastic run support from the Growler’s offense, highlighted by Devin Obee (Duke), who went 2-4 at the plate with 4 RBI and a stolen base. Logan Bursick-Harrington (Davenport) recorded the game’s final three outs to secure the shutout win and move the Growlers a giant step closer to the division championship.
