There are some front page crime reports with one being the death of Rashad Green. Green was shot on the 300 black of Garlington ave and was transported to Memorial Satilla where he was pronounced deceased. Another victim was wounded in the shooting which has not been identified. Kai'Jamon Smith was arrested for the shooting.

Senator Warnock visited Waycross over the weekend and answered questions for citizens.

The Board of Education is scheduled to meet this Thursday to discuss the budget for the 22-23 fiscal year. City commissioners will be meeting at city hall at 4pm as the school board will be meeting at noon at their offices on Bailey Street.
