Dozens of people were displaced after a fire broke out in a condominium building in Kenton County Monday.
A representative from the Red Cross said 28 people in 12 units were impacted by the fire.
The Red Cross said it was able to provide displaced families with financial assistance for emergencies and personal items.
Firefighters responding to the fire said crews were able to evacuate residents safely with no injuries.
Edgewood Assistant Fire Chief Chris Amon said two firefighters were sent to the hospital for minor injuries.
Witnesses who called 911 said they saw the flames from the balcony.
"I was just so shocked. There were kids crying with their parents and you just wish you could do something for them," said witness Melissa Weigle.
The cause of the fire is still investigation.
