Multiple crews respond to home fire in Minden

MINDEN, Neb. —
A house in Minden is considered a total loss after a fire Tuesday afternoon.

According to Minden Fire Chief Tom Brown, the call came in around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday for a fire at 242 S. Nebraska in Minden.
When crews arrived, they found heavy smoke and fire. Mutual aid was called from Axtell, Franklin, Wilcox and Hildreth, as crews worked for an hour to get the fire under control.
There were no injuries in the fire. The Red Cross is assisting the family.
The fire caused an estimated $120,000 in damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
