JASON: THANK YOU FOR THE UPDATE. THE PHONES ARE IN, AND WE’RE GETTING A BETTER LOOK AT HE WILL BE ON THE BALLOT FOR THE NOVEMBER ELECTIONS. SHELBY: THE BIG ONES, OF COURSE. LET’S BEGIN WITH SHELBY MONTGOMERY, WHO JOINS US LIVE WITH REACTION FROM THE TWO WINNING CANDIDATES ON THE ROAD FOR GOVERNOR. SHELBY M: THOSE TWO CANDIDATES HAD A LOT TO SAY AFTER ALL OF THE VOTES WERE TALLIED. CURRENT GOVERNOR KEVIN STITT WON EASILY AGAINST HIS CHALLENGERS. HE GOT NEARLY 70% OF THE REPUBLICAN VOTE. MORE THAN 38,000 PEOPLE VOTING FOR HIM ON THE DEMOCRATIC SIDE. JOY HOFMEISTER SECURED THE WIN LAST NIGHT WAS 60% OF THE VOTE AGAINST JOHNSON. OUR TEAM CAUGHT UP WITH BOTH STATE AND HOFMEISTER AFTER THE VICTORIES WERE ANNOUNCED. >> THE TURNAROUND IS WORKING, FOLKS. THE NEEDLE IS MOVING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BELIEVING IN THIS MOVEMENT. Below is a look at some of the key races in Oklahoma and their results

Oklahomans went to the polls to cast their votes in the state's primary Tuesday.Below is a look at some of the key races in Oklahoma and their results.Governor's RacesIncumbent Kevin Stitt and Joy Hofmeister won their respective primaries for Oklahoma governor. Both races were called fairly early, a little more than an hour after polls closed.Stitt seeks to win a second term as Oklahoma's governor. Hofmeister, who currently serves as Oklahoma's superintendent of public instruction, switched to the Democratic party to possibly run against Stitt.The two will now face off in November. Independent Ervin Yen, an Oklahoma City anesthesiologist and former Republican state senator, and Libertarian Natalie Bruno of Edmond also will be on the November ballot.Click here for results. Jim Inhofe surprised the Oklahoma political world when he announced earlier this year that he was retiring.His retirement is effective Jan. 3, 2023, meaning someone will need to take his Senate seat.U.S. Rep. Governor's Races

Incumbent Kevin Stitt and Joy Hofmeister won their respective primaries for Oklahoma governor.

Both races were called fairly early, a little more than an hour after polls closed.

Stitt seeks to win a second term as Oklahoma's governor. Hofmeister, who currently serves as Oklahoma's superintendent of public instruction, switched to the Democratic party to possibly run against Stitt.

U.S. House District 2 - Republican

Avery Frix has won the primary election for Oklahoma's second congressional district.

Incumbent Frank Lucas defeated challengers Wade Burleson and Stephen Butler for Oklahoma's Third Congressional District.

Incumbent Tom Cole was declared the winner of his primary, defeating challengers Frank Blacke and James Taylor.

New Oklahoma County Jail and Mental Health Facility

Oklahoma County voters approved a $260 million bond proposal to fund a new jail and mental health facility. Oklahoma County commissioners say the bond will not raise residents' taxes but renew an expiring bond approved in 2008.
