North Oconee's Jack Fabris (13) brings in a pass for a touchdown while being defended by Spalding's Dubois Watson (7) during a GHSA high school football playoff game between Spalding and North Oconee in Bogart, Ga., on Friday, Nov. 19, 2021.

Jack Fabris is shutting down his college football recruitment.

The North Oconee senior safety verbally committed to Kansas State Tuesday evening, he announced on Twitter.

"I want to thank God for blessing me throughout my life and with this opportunity," Fabris tweeted. "I'd also like to thank my parents for being very supportive of me throughout my life and this process and my coaches for pushing and teaching me. Finally I would like to thank Coach Klieman and Coach Klanderman for giving me this opportunity as well as Taylor Braet for his help along the way. With that being said, I am committing to Kansas State."

Fabris, who also was a key member of the Titans' state championship baseball team, chose the Wildcats over offers from Army, Georgia Southern and Old Dominion. His father, Jon, served as KSU's defensive ends coach for two separate stints.

As a junior during the 2021 season, Jack recorded 118 tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, one pass breakup and one forced fumble for the Titans.
