Former Central Dauphin, current Connecticut Sun star Alyssa Thomas named WNBA All-Star

Alyssa Thomas is a WNBA All-Star once more.

The former Central Dauphin and current Connecticut Sun standout was selected Tuesday as a reserve for the 2022 ATAT WNBA All-Star game which is slated for 1 p.m. on July 10 at the Chicago Sky’s Wintrust Arena. The game will broadcast live on ABC.

Thomas, who is an eight-year veteran, was also an all-star pick in 2017 and 2019.

She currently leads the Sun in assists per game (5.8) and steals per game (1.4) and is second in rebounds per game (8). She is also averaging 12.6 points per game, and has been named WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week once and was also named Eastern Conference Player of the Month for May.
