June 28, 2022 – The Splash Cove in Decatur is continuing its search for anyone 16 years of age or older who would like to become a lifeguard.
Wednesday, June 29, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Thursday, June 30, from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., they will be holding lifeguard training and certification information meetings. If you are interested in applying, email thewitt@decparks.com. Or click here.
Applicants will get a $100 signing-on bonus, as well as an end-of-season bonus. For new lifeguards, the starting pay is $14 an hour, and returning lifeguards can expect $14.50 an hour.
