WEATHERFORD, Okla. – Southwestern Oklahoma State University officially introduced new head coaches Jeff Zinn and Jessica Boone on Tuesday at a meet and greet social held on campus.
 
Both Zinn (women's basketball) and Boone (softball) become the fifth head coaches in their program's respective history.
 
Athletic Director Todd Helton began the speaking portion of the meet and greet, followed by SWOSU President Dr. Lovell and finally Zinn and Boone who were both introduced by Helton.
 
Both coaches briefly spoke to similar tunes of the family culture witnessed so far in Weatherford and their excitement towards meeting the team in person and getting to work. Zinn also introduced his hired assistant coach, Heather Davis, who joins the team after eight years as the assist coach at UCO.  
 
Classes for the new school year and athletic season begin on August 22. No schedules for either sport have been released yet.
