The grass isn’t any greener on the other side of the fence in Rawlins. It’s brown all over because of ongoing water restrictions.
The city is partnering with the University of Wyoming Carbon County Extension office and the City of Rawlins on a study to explore alternative turf options that can hold up better to area’s windy, arid climate. Cali O’Hare reports.
