Storm Lake, IA (KICD)– Emergency crews were able to remove more than four dozen animals from a Storm Lake home last week after receiving a report of animal cruelty.
Police and a firefighter executed a search warrant at the home on North Michigan Street last Friday where fifty cats and two dogs were removed, some of which reportedly could not be saved at had to be put down.
Officials ask that anyone knowing of potential animal abuse file a report with authorities.
