Three arrested in Glasgow after child found alone in road

GLASGOW, Ky. – Three people are behind bars after a small child was found playing alone in Glasgow.

On Monday, officers responded to Bryan Street in reference to a small child playing alone in the road. The police department stated officers went to where the child lived and confirmed that the father, Drew Sims, had active warrants for his arrest.

According to authorities, officers obtained and executed a search warrant for the residence, where they located Oxycodone, methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside the home.

Sims, 27, of Glasgow was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, first degree, first offense (methamphetamine), wanton endangerment, first degree, possession of a controlled substance, first degree, first offense (drug unspecified), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and prescription controlled substance not in a proper container, first offense.

James Keeton, 31, of Glasgow, was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a minor.

Felicia G. Hunter, 36, of Glasgow was arrested and charged with wanton endangerment, first degree, possession of a controlled substance, first degree, first offense (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

All three were lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
