The Great Blue Heron Music Festival in Sherman has become a tradition for nearly 30 years. It’s a chance to celebrate music, nature, and the spirit of self-expression. The annual event draws thousands of fans from across the U.S. and features Americana music at a scenic, hilly campground.
July 29 to 31
This festival hosted by Panama Rocks Scenic Park is a chance to experience the sights and sounds of nature. There’s an arts and crafts show, live music, locally-sourced food, wild animals to meet, and more!
August 3 to 7
Lucille Ball had a special vision for her hometown. She hoped it would become a destination dedicated to celebrating the comedic arts. During this annual festival, that’s exactly what it becomes.
The 30th annual Lucille Ball Comedy Festival presented by The National Comedy Center is bringing more than 50 events and 30 artists to Jamestown. It’s an opportunity to share laughter while also honoring the craft and its contributors in dozens of venues throughout town.
