For Anne Klein, First Comes Fashion, Then Comes Furniture

With traditionally apparel-focused brands entering the home category in droves, Anne Klein becomes the latest to launch a furnishings line.

WHP Global, which owns the Anne Klein brand, tapped Nova Design Inc. to develop and distribute the Anne Klein Furniture Collection. The line will include dining, bedroom, living room, home office, and outdoor pieces that draw inspiration from Parisian chic, Scandinavian, and midcentury styles.

Anne Klein already sells soft goods for the home in addition to its apparel, intimates, handbag, footwear, jewelry and fragrance lines.

“We have experienced success in the home category for Anne Klein with our bedding and bath products and look forward to partnering with Nova Design to offer customers a new way to incorporate the classic style of our iconic brand into their homes,” said Stanley Silverstein, chief commercial officer for WHP Global. WHP Global also owns fashion brands Joe’s Jeans, William Rast, and Joseph Abboud, as well as a controlling interest in the Isaac Mizrahi brand.

Anne Klein joins a spate of apparel brands that have recently made the leap into home decor and furniture. Gap struck a partnership for a furnishings and home goods line with Walmart, most recently expanding to a kids’ collection. Another icon of preppy style, J.Crew, recently partnered with Liberty of London for its first home line of floral bedding and dining products.

The Anne Klein Furniture Collection will be available at select retailers and online in winter 2022.
