The PGH to the Pros youth football camp was held this past Friday hosted by multiple Pittsburgh natives including Damar Hamlin of McKees Rocks, Miles Sanders from Woodland Hills, Kenny Robinson from Wilkinsburg and Khaleke Hudson of McKeesport.
Over 100 kids were in attendance and got to work with each player throughout the camp.
“It’s always great to come back home to give back to my city,” said Hamlin. “The city raised us and made us who we are today.”
The free camp was hosted at George Cupples stadium in the Southside. Each camper was presented with a free T-shirt and an opportunity for autographs after the camp.
“It was a great feeling to give back to the community” said Hudson
“Just coming out here and having fun, this is something I always dreamed about even when I was a kid about doing this and having an impact on people's lives.”
