Ward drove into the intersection and a northbound Ford 350 struck the Trax on the driver's side, sending the small SUV off the road, where it rolled.

The collision spun the northbound truck around so it was facing to the southwest.

The driver of the truck, William Ruiz-Ramirez, 37, of West Lafayette, and his passenger, Julia Ceasar, were both wearing seat belts. They both complained of pain after the crash and were treated at the scene, according to the sheriff's office.
