LA CROSSE Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A suspect is arrested following a shooting in La Crosse over the weekend. La Crosse police officers responded to a call for shots fired in Powell Park around 7:30 Sunday night.
After arriving, officers learned there was an argument between people in the park, which turned violent. Witnesses say 20-year-old Lucious McCloud shot a victim in the leg.
The victim was treated at a local hospital and has since been released. McCloud was found around midnight and was booked into the La Crosse County jail. He faces multiple charges, including 2nd degree reckless injury.
