Public Hearing Held On Use Of Capital Improvement Sales Tax Funds

A public hearing was part of the Chillicothe City Council meeting Monday.  The hearing was for the use of the Capital Improvement Sales Tax Funds.  Parks Director Josh Norris presented the request to use $130,000 for improvements at Chilli Bay  Waterpark.

Work could take place beginning this fall and the city would have to go out to bid on the project.

The other item on the Public Hearing was the Industrial Park Improvements.  City Administrator Roze Frampton talked about the proposed work.

No action can be taken for fourteen days after the hearing.  These items will be brought back for consideration at the next meeting.
