Two south county residents are facing charges after an investigation into a reported burglary in progress on Blockville-Watts Flats Road in the town of Harmony late Monday evening. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies responded to the call around 11:30 pm. They located 39-year-old Amanda Barton of Busti and 41-year-old Chad Enos of Jamestown inside the residence. Further investigation revealed that Barton and Enos had allegedly unlawfully entered the residence and removed property from it. Deputies have charged Barton and Enos with 3rd-degree burglary and 3rd-degree attempted grand larceny. The duo was released with appearance tickets and will answer their charges in Harmony Town Court at a later date.
