A magnitude 2.5 earthquake was recorded in southeast Missouri Tuesday morning.
According to the US Geological Survey at the University of Memphis, the quake was about six miles southwest of Caruthersville and 20 miles west northwest of Dyersburg, Tennessee.
A quake of 2.5 is the threshold of humans being able to detect the ground shaking, according to the USGS.
No damage was reported.
