Teen hurt after shooting in Davenport Monday night

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - Investigators say a 16-year-old boy is hurt after a shooting in Davenport Monday night. According to Davenport police, multiple officers responded to the 300 block of East Dover Court around 11:15 p.m. When they arrived on scene, police say they found the teen suffering from a serious gunshot wound.
Police said Medic EMS took the boy to hospital for treatment. Police say they do not believe his injuries are life-threatening. No other injuries or damage has been reported.
Police say the shooting remains under investigation.
