A nationwide search is underway for the man who officials say hit and killed 35-year-old Nicole Mokeme of South Portland.Mokeme’s death has been ruled a homicide, officials announced Monday. According to authorities, Mokeme was hit and killed at Acadia National Park on the campus of the Schoodic Education and Research Center.The Maine State Police, with assistance from law enforcement partners, are searching for 35-year-old Raymond Lester and his car, a 2016 black BMW X3 SUV with Maine tag 5614WM.Officials said the SUV may have front-end or damage to the undercarriage.Anyone with information is asked to contact Maine State Police at 207-973-3700.

A nationwide search is underway for the man who officials say hit and killed 35-year-old Nicole Mokeme of South Portland.

Mokeme’s death has been ruled a homicide, officials announced Monday.
