Barnard Man Injured in Accident South of Maryville Monday Morning

MARYVILLE, MO – A Barnard man was injured in an accident South of Maryville Monday.

At 9:37 A.M. the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to an accident involving 85-year-old Charles I. Hamilton.

The crash occurred as Hamilton’s vehicle was northbound on US 71 and travelled off the East side of the roadway and struck an embankment.

The vehicle came to rest off the east side of the roadway.

Hamilton was transported to Mosaic Life Care in Maryville, where he was treated for moderate injuries.
