The South Central Regional Airport Agency is meeting today for the first time since February. A closed session is on the agenda to discuss matters currently in litigation. The meeting comes after the Iowa Supreme Court decided Friday to side with Mahaska County and the Site A Landowners in litigation, overturning district court decisions supporting the Cities of Pella and Oskaloosa and the SCRAA relating to the validity of a 28E Agreement between the entities to create a new airport. A public forum will be held prior to the closed session at the SCRAA meeting that begins at 6:00 this evening in the Pella Public Safety Complex.
