TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Authorities say a shooting outside a Spring Hill bar left two men with serious injuries Tuesday morning.
The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office got several 911 calls about a shooting in the parking lot of the Sunset Lounge, 5429 Spring Hill Drive, at about 1:27 a.m. Tuesday.
The callers told police at least one person was struck by gunfire, and they didn’t know where the shooter went.
Deputies responded and found two men in the parking lot with gunshot wounds. They were rushed to an area trauma center to be treated for their injuries.
Deputies said the victims and the shooter were seen talking before the shooting, and they don’t believe it was a random act. They are still working to identify the suspect.
