BackCountry, with players from the Silver Valley, won the eighth-grade coed bracket at Hoopfest last weekend in downtown Spokane. For three of the four players, this was their first time participating in Hoopfest. BackCountry went undefeated in five games, winning by two in overtime in the championship game. From left are Cherish Ramirez, Jordyn Stutzke, Ty Cheney and Porter Lewis.
