Put it back please, I’ve seen a few bumper stickers but that was the first sign.

I only hope that the Garberville Chamber of Commerce is big enough to hold this dynamic lady.
You can expect some changes and improvements in the position of Executive Director. She is a perfect fit to represent our Community. She is an easy communicator, and she has the pleasant nature that she actually listens to what you say.

In full disclosure: I have known, and worked around Yvonne and her partner, Kim Sallaway for many years. I’m am probably prejudiced, they are great and talented people.

Yeah Ernie, you may be prejudiced, but you are also right.
Yvonne is a perfect fit for this job. She is creative and experienced, and well connected with all kinds of media. Her skills will help improve our community at a time when we really need to spread a welcome and positive word for SoHum.

A little off topic. Tourist asked me on Sunday if there is any wi-fi hot spot in Gville,Redway. Ive heard there may be one at the chamber visitor center. Anybody know if that is so. I know Emerald Tech has access on week days

I think you are right, Ernie.

This seems like a big step in the right direction.

I hope Yvonne Hendrix gets lots of cooperation from the community…

It needs all the help it can get, and it seems like we just got the lucky break we needed, with this new representative.

I welcome Yvonne! We desperately need a fresh perspective to help lead us in this post-green-rush, over-regulated (for legal cannabis) era!
I encourage Yvonne to consider holding a local charette this summer, working with the community to help it, and what is left of the cannabis industry and business community, move forward. Also to find realistic ways to help preserve (or resurrect) the Humboldt brand!
I believe there are MANY people willing to help you Yvonne. Just ask. We are known for our great volunteers here!
