BLACKFOOT — Blackfoot Planning and Zoning Administrator Kurt Hibbert has provided a few updates about different businesses coming to Blackfoot.
Many people have been wondering about the future Dairy Queen location at 845 W. Bridge at the old Kentucky Fried Chicken location, and Hibbert revealed that will be opening soon.
“Dairy Queen is hiring managers right now,” he said. “They should be open within two to three months.”
Another restaurant that may be planning on coming to Blackfoot soon is Panda Express.
“They have been doing market research in Blackfoot,” said Hibbert.
Maverik is planning to open a couple of new locations in Blackfoot soon. One will be located on Highway 26 across from the Snake River Travel Plaza, and the other will be on Yellowstone. Maverik is also planning to update its current location at West Bridge St. after it builds the other two.
Other businesses planning on coming to Blackfoot are a couple of RV parks, a lawnmower landscaper business and a new car wash, Hibbert said.
